Phuket Marks “Occupational Safety Officer Day” with Community Activities and Charity Support
Phuket, Thailand – 12 November 2025
The Phuket Provincial Office of Labour Protection and Welfare, led by Mr. Thanapong Oranchar, presided over the opening ceremony of “Occupational Safety Officer Day in Phuket Province” this afternoon at Saphan Hin Public Park.
Holiday Inn Resort Phuket joined the event to support local workplace safety initiatives and contributed THB 20,000 toward the construction of the Radiation Oncology Building at Vachira Phuket Hospital, in collaboration with the Phuket Safety Network.
The programme featured several key activities, including:
Presentation of certificates to participating organisations recognized by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare for their commitment to workplace safety
Volunteer beach improvement activity at Saphan Hin, where participants worked together to enhance the cleanliness and safety of the public area
Holiday Inn Resort Phuket’s participation reflects the hotel’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, workplace safety awareness, and supporting initiatives that benefit the people of Phuket.
